Now wipe cache & Dalvik cache again and Reboot your device.

How to Install and Download Oxygen OS 3 5 5 Android Nougat On OnePlus 3

OnePlus has now stepped into upgrading its flagship phone OnePlus 3 with a new community build Oxygen OS 3.5.4 and many new features. This is followed by the community build for the OnePlus X that was released just this week with Oxygen OS version 3.1.0 based on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

We would have wished Oneplus has brought us Android 7.0 Nougat firmware or just some of its features. However, it may take some time for the development team to release it at this moment. So Oxygen OS 3.5 is still based on the stable Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Though, it comes with a newer AOSP source; most likely August 1. OnePlus has also promised Android 7.0 nougat for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 2.

How to Install Oxygen OS 3.5.5 Community Build on OnePlus 3 via ADB sideload and stock recovery?

The following tutorial will let you flash the latest Oxygen OS 3.5.5+ community build onto your precious OnePlus 3 device. Before you proceed, make sure your device runs on previous community build OxygenOS 3.5.5. The following tutorial consists of 2 methods to install the ROM. One is via stock recovery and other via ADB sideload (OTA update).

For non-rooted devices: flash adb sideload

Flash the OTA using ADB sideload method. This is the manual method for installing the OTA zip file on most of the Android devices.

Prerequisites:

1. Verify your device for compatibility. The listed firmware is compatible with OnePlus 3 device only.

2. Enable USB Debugging on your device. To do so, go to Settings>About Phone> Tap on the Build Numberseveral times until you get a new Developer Options in the Settings. Open Developer Options and enable USB Debugging from there. Trust the connection by allowing it when you connect it to your PC for the first time.

3. Make sure you have latest device drivers setup on your PC for a better connection. Get it from the official page of your device manufacturer.

4. For ADB and Fastboot download the quick ADB and Fastboot Installer from here for Windows users and easily setup ADB and Fastboot on Mac OS, Linux or Chrome OS from here.

Installation Instructions:

Step 1: Download the OTA/Full ROM file for Android Watch. You don�t need to extract the file, just place the file on your PC where you can easily locate it.

Step 2: Make sure that you setup ADB and Fastboot on your PC. Trust the connection by checking �Always allow from this computer� when you plug in the Android device to your PC for the first time.

Step 3: Now keep the device plugged in and open a command prompt or terminal on your PC. To do so, hold the shift key on the keyboard and right-click on an empty space and select �Open command window here� option to launch a cmd window.

Step 4: Boot your Android device into the bootloader or Fastboot mode. To do so, issue the following command through cmd or terminal.

adb reboot bootloader

Note: To check your connectivity, issue the command �adb devices� before the bootloader command.

Step 5: Now, navigate to the location where you have placed the OTA file on your PC. (You may rename the OTA file to a simple one, like ota.zip. While the folder with the ota.zip file is open, flash the OTA by issuing the following command.) It is recommended you leave the name of OTA as it is and type the exact name with its proper extension.

adb sideload ota.zip

Step 6: Here, ota.zip is the name of the file. So use, adb sideload <file name>.zip Now the OTA will start installing.

Once the installation completes, you can now enjoy your new firmware.

The OxygenOS is now officially released for OnePlus One and can be installed on it by applying some sort of steps. Additionally, there must be many users who are not acquaint with the process of doing so. Therefore, today I am going to share a guide with you guys which will be making you learn that, How to root Oneplus One and install OxygenOS?

OnePlus One is one of the best Android smartphones released in the year 2014 and it continues to dominate the smartphone market with its high-end configuration and smarter pricing. Recently OnePlus has released the Oxygen OS (which is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system) for all the OnePlus One devices. You can get it via automatic update in the next few months but if you don�t wait that long, then you are in the right page. Here, I have given a step by step tutorial to install Oxygen OS in OnePlus One Android smartphone. Follow the instructions carefully and enjoy the Oxygen OS ROM features today.

How to Root OnePlus One and Install OxygenOS

Prerequisites:

1) Before getting started with the installation of Oxygen OS, make sure that you have taken a complete backup of all the data in your smartphone using appropriate apps as Oxygen OS installation process will wipe out all your smartphone data. After installing the Oxygen OS, you can recover the data by using this backup.

Caution: Backup your OnePlus One before applying these steps.

Step 1) Root and Unlock Bootloader OnePlus One

The first steps of this guide is to root and unlock bootloader OnePlus one in order to install OxygenOS on your device. The steps for rooting and unlocking bootloader OnePlus is completely mentioned below. Additionally, I am again emphasizing you to backup your phone before applying the steps in order to be on the safe side.

First of all, Install the ADB and fastboot file on your computer from this Link, and then extract it on the desktop as it will be a rar file.
Now, turn off your phone and then Press Volume up and power button then you will be welcomed into fastboot mode.
After that, connect your OnePlus one to your computer using USB cable and then go to the folder where you have installed the ADB and fastboot file on your computer and right click on it and then click onOpen Command Window here.

Furthermore, you will have command prompt window, Now you need to write the following command there and then it will list all the connected device with your computer. If it is not showing OnePlus One then that means your phone�s driver is not installed.

fastboot devices

After that, run the following command to unlock the bootloader.

fastboot oem unlock

After you have run the above command then run the following command.

fastboot reboot

Now, your phone will be rebooted in few minutes.
Afterwards, you need to go to Settings >> About Phone >> then tap on Build no 7 and it will enable the developer mode.
Now, again go to Settings >> Developer Options >> then enable USB Debugging.
Furthermore, again go to Settings >> Developer Options and then toggle off/disable the Update Recovery with System Updates.

Step 1.1) Installing TWRP

First of all, Install TWRP recovery program on your computer by Clicking Here.
Ones it is downloaded, rename it as recovery.img and then copy that file and paste it into the ADB and fastboot folder which you�ve downloaded in above step.

Now you need to turn off the phone and then Press Volume Up and Power button to enter into fastboot mode.
Then you need to open new Command Prompt on your computer and then run the following command

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

After running the above command then run the following command.

fastboot reboot

Now, it will reboot your phone and ones it is restarted then it will install the TWRP on your OnePlus One.

Step 1.2) Root Oneplus One

Now, you need to Download SuperSU on your computer from this Link then move that file to your phone.
Afterwards, enter the Recovery mode by pressing Volume Down and Power button on your phone.
Then you need to go to Install and browse the SuperSU file which you�ve recently downloaded, select that file to install and then swipe to confirm the installation.
After that, tap on Reboot and now your OnePlus one is successfully rooted.

Step 2) Installing OxygenOS

This is the second and the last step of this tutorial in which you are supposed to install OxygenOS. Ones you have followed all the above steps correctly then you are ready to go for this last step. Now, get to the below steps to know more about it.

After following the above steps you need to install the OxygenOS file on your computer by ClickingHere.
Now you need to extract that file on your computer as it is a zip file. You will have two different files on the folder, we need only .zip file.
Then turn off your phone and then Press Volume Down+Power button to enter into the recovery mode.
Afterwards, you�ll be welcomed in Recovery Mode. Now select Wipe option and Delete Dalvik Cache, Cache and Data.
Then you need to go back and tap on Install button and then browse the .Zip file which you�ve downloaded in above step and then select OxygenOS zip file and confirm the installation process.
After getting succeed message you need to turn off your device and then it will successfully install the OxygenOS on your phone.

How to Install Unofficial Lineage OS 14 1 ROM on LG G4

An unofficial build of Lineage OS is now available for the LG G4. For the uninitiated, Lineage OS is the new name for CyanogenMod ROM as the original maintainers of the ROM separated their ways.

As of now, the LOS ROMs are based on the same source code as CyanogenMod so there aren�t any real world difference between the two. However, changes to Lineage OS will be made once the new team is done with infrastructure setup for the new OS.

How to Install Unofficial Lineage OS 14.1 ROM on LG G4

Step 1 � Download Unofficial Lineage OS 14.1 ROM for your LG G4 and Nougat 7.1 Gapps to your computer.

Step 2 � Connect and mount your LG G4 USB memory on your computer using the USB cable.

Step 3 � Now copy/paste the downloaded Unofficial Lineage OS 14.1 ROM zip file to your SD card. Make sure the file is in the SD card root (not in any folder).

Step 4 � Then turn OFF your phone and disconnect from the USB cable.

Step 5 � Now to get in the Recovery Mode. Switch ON the phone while pressing and holding Volume Up + Home + Power buttons together.

Step 6 � Once you are in ClockworkMod Recovery, select perform a full data wipe by selecting �wipe data/factory reset�. Use the Power button to select everything while in the Recovery Mode.

Step 7 � Then, perform a cache wipe by selecting �wipe cache partition�.

Step 8 � Now this is optional, but it is recommended to perform a wipe of your dalvik cache as well. You will not get into boot loops or any other errors. From CWM recovery, go to �advanced� and then select �wipe dalvik cache�.

Step 9 � Then go back to the main Recovery screen and select �install zip from SD card�.

Step 10 � Now select �choose zip from sdcard�. Using your volume keys, navigate to the Unofficial Lineage OS 14.1 ROM zip file that you copied to your SD card and select it using the Power button. Confirm the installation on the next screen and the installation procedure should start now.

Nougat 7.1 Gapps: Repeat the above step for the Gapps zip file as well and install it on your tablet.

Step 11 � After the installation completes, go to �+++++Go Back+++++� and reboot the phone by selecting �reboot system now� from the recovery menu .

Your LG G4 will boot now and it might take about 5 minutes to boot on your first time. So, please wait.

That�s it! Your LG G4 International � h815 should now have Unofficial Lineage OS 14.1 ROM installed on your phone! Go to Settings > About phone to verify.

HYPERIOD OS Flashing instructions:

Download the HYPERIOD OS Rom for your Infinix to your computer or device.
Connect and mount your device USB memory on your computer using the USB cable.
Now copy/paste the downloaded zip file to your SD card. Make sure the files are in the SD card root (not in any folder).
Then turn OFF your phone and disconnect from the USB cable.
Now boot in the Recovery Mode. Switch ON the phone while pressing and holding Volume Up + Home + Power buttons together
Once you are in Recovery Mode, select perform a full data wipe by selecting �wipe data/factory reset�. Use the Power button to select everything while in the Recovery Mode.
Then, perform a cache wipe by selecting �wipe cache partition� .
Now this is optional, but it is recommended to perform a wipe of your dalvik cache as well. You will not get into boot loops or any other errors. From recovery, go to �advanced� and then select �wipe dalvik cache�.
Then go back to the main recovery screen and select �install zip from SD card�.
Now select �choose zip from sdcard�. Using your volume keys, navigate to the zip file that you copied to your SD card and select it using the Power button. Confirm the installation on the next screen and the installation procedure should start now.
After the installation completes, go to �+++++Go Back+++++� and reboot the phone by selecting �reboot system now� from the recovery menu.
Your Infinix Hot Note X551 Pro will boot now and it might take about 5 minutes to boot on your first time. So, please wait. Your phone should now have Hyperiod OS Rom installed on It! Go to Settings & About phone to verify.

Instruction

Get the base rom [temasek cm12] from here
Go to recovery Wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache, Data, Clean to install new Rom
then choose the base ROM zip & flash..
Follow the instructions on first boot
Reboot to recovery and flash the overlay
Reboot and done!

Note

Do not wipe or factory reset just before or after flashing the overlay
In case you have to wipe/factory reset in the future, dirty flash the base rom, follow the instructions on first boot, reboot to recovery and flash the overlay
You can switch back to the base rom anytime by dirty flashing the base rom

OnePlus 2 finally get a Android Nougat 7.1.2 update. But this update not provided by official oneplus team. This is an official Lineage OS 14.1 ROM which is based on Android Nougat 7.1.2 For our OnePlus 2 device. So guys in this post I am going to tell you How To Install Android Nougat 7.1.2 in OnePlus 2 with the help of official Lineage OS 14.1 custom Rom. Here comes the Lineage OS 14.1 official build for the oneplus 2.

What Is Lineage OS??

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1.2 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Requirements For Installing a custom ROM on a OnePlus 2

1. You need unlocked Bootloader & TWRP recovery installed on your oneplus 2. If you dont know about unlocking Bootloader & twrp recovery then watch this video or follow the tutorial to unlock bootloader of your oneplus 2 and install TWRP Recovery on oneplus 2. (which may VOID your warranty and may delete all your data. SO first Take a full backup of your all data).

2. Download Lineage OS 14.1 ROM zip file For oneplus 2. (Download from the given links)

3. Download Gapps For Android Nougat 7.1 (Arm64).

4. Download Supersu zip File to Root Your oneplus 2.

How To Install Android Nougat 7.1.2 in OnePlus 2 [Lineage OS 14.1ROM] :

1. First take a full backup of your current rom in to your pc.

ALLSO READ : How to backup and restore android rom using TWRP recovery

2. Download Official Lineage OS 14.1 Rom and Gapps File in your Phone storage.

3. Now Go to settings/about Phone /Build number. Tao 7-8 times on Build number it will enables Devloper option. Open devloper option and enable Advanced Reboot option. After that Boot your phone to Twrp Recovery Mode (for that press power button /Reboot /Recovery).

4. Now you will see your phone will boot into recovery mode. So first take a full backup of your current rom (Most important step).

5. Now after Backing up, Go to Wipe section and Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.

6. Now Go back and Now go to Install Section then first select tour Lineage OS 14.1 Rom file and flash it. It will take time to flash so wait.

7. After flashing a rom now again go back and select Gapps zip and flash it via TWRP Recovery.

8. After flashing Rom & Gapps then click on Reboot System. It will take minimum 5-10 minuts to first boot.

9. Done. Android Nougat 7.1.2 Installed On your OnePlus 2.

How To Root Android Nougat 7.1.2 On OnePlus 2 :

1. Download latest Supersu zip file from the given links and save it in your phones internal Storage.

2. Boot into TWRP Recovery Mode then click on Install section then select supersu zip file and flash it.

3. Click on Reboot System. It will take some time to boot maximum 10-15 minutes.

4. Done, Now your OnePlus 2 is successfuly Rooted.

HOW TO UPDATE THE ANDROID OS 2.1 TO 2.3 IN SONY ERICSSON W8

After long search i found the correct soluion for formatting android os 2.1 to 2.3 for sony ericsson W8/X8.

Hai friends updating Android OS have two types:
1. Changing ROM without unlocking bootloader (this support only particular rom)
2. Changing KERNEL and ROM by unlocking bootloader (this will allow you to change recent android 4.2 jelly bean).

1: ROOT

Root your mobile by using x8tool,

Here the link for x8 tool: x8tool

Password for x8toolbox.zip file is: irukaveandiyathutha

Before rooting: Goto Setting-->Application-->Development--> "tick the USB debugging box". Its must and then connect your usb cable to your system and mobile.

Open the x8toolbox.cmd file shown in the below picture.

Select 1 press Enter.

Select 2 and press Enter for rooting. After finish reboot your mobile.

If you already rooted just skip this step.
Dont install the xrecovery from x8tool for w8.

2: Busybox:

Download and install the busybox,

Here the market link: busybox

If you alread rooted or intalled the busybox, just skip this.
Dont install the busybox more than one time, it may cause the os during flashing.

3: Root Explorer

Dowload and install the Root Explorer, link is: Root Explorer V2.19, Root Explorer v2.20

4: Baseband

Now we want to install the supported Baseband,

The link is: Flash tool

Download the above link and extract the file to your computer.
Open the X10FLASHTOOL.EXE file in the baseband folder.

dont connect the usb cable, before it says.
click the FLASH button,

select the x8i device that means baseband_015. then click OK Button.
after click OK button they said to connect your mobile,
Switch off your mobile press and hold the back key then connect the usb cable.
Now you successfully installed the baseband.
Then turn on the mobile.

5: XRECOVERY

Download the xrecovery file from the below link.

After dowloading exract the file, it have BUSYBOX, CHARGEMON, CHARGER, XRECOVERY.TAR
Send the four file to sdcard from your computer.
Then open the root explorer which is already you installed.
Goto sdcard copy the BUSYBOX, CHARGEMON, CHARGER, XRECOVERY.TAR where you stored already.
Press the back button, Paste the copied file to system-->bin-->
Next step is very important we want to set the permission for that four files.
If we not set correct permission your mobile will hang on sony ericsson logo during start up.
For each four file we have to set the permission.
Press and hold the file, a popup will appear, In that select the PERMISSIONS.
The permission must be as rwxr-xr-x

Select the mount read/write and Paste to system/bin:

Press and hold the file a popup will appear:

Select the PERMISSIONS
Next popup will appear for selected file
See the next image, its very important and must.

Select the permissions like above picture, and check twice whether you selected correctly or not.
Each four file (BUSYBOX, CHARGEMON, CHARGER, XRECOVERY.TAR) you have to select the permissions like this only, it must, otherwise your mobile will hang on sony ericsson logo at the start up.

Dowload the android roms, what ever you want.
Sent the rom to sdcard.
gingerDX v22 is best for w8/x8, but its my decision only, you have download what you like.

7: Installation

Now Goto: Setting-->Application--> tick the unknown sources and,
Goto : Setting-->Application-->Development--> "tick the USB debugging box". Its must.

Now turn OFF the mobile wait 5 second, then turn ON the mobile.
If you seen the sony ericsson logo while turn on, then press the back button multiple time until they goto xrecovery mode.

After enter the xrecovery mode use volume button to scroll up/down and home key to select.

select the FACTORY RESET(FULL WIPE)--> YES (to reset the custom rom) then come back.
Then goto INSTALL CUSTOM ZIP-->CHOOSE CUSTOM ZIP FOM SDCARD-->select GingerDX v22.ZIP by using home key, ( you can choose what ever rom you like).
Now your rom will installed it may take some time.
After install sucessfully, reboot your device, 1st start up may be take some more time.
