Infiniti Retail to launch Croma 3G tablets in next 2 weeks
Tata group firm Infiniti Retail, which runs Croma chain of consumer electronics and durables stores, is planning to expand its range of private label items by introducing 3G-enabled tablet within next two weeks and high-end refrigerators by Diwali this year.
The company has already started offering affordable range of Croma-branded smartphones, which are sourced from China.
"We are going to expand our offering in the private label segment by rolling out more products in coming days. We will introduce 3G tablet in the next 1-2 weeks," Infiniti Retail Managing Director and CEO Ajit Joshi told us.
The company will source the tablets from China and Taiwan and they will be priced at Rs 9,990, he added.
Infiniti Retail at present sells Croma-branded 2G tablets, priced at Rs 6,990.
"We will also introduce high-end refrigerators under our private label. These will hit the market around Diwali," Joshi said without sharing the possible price of the product.
Talking about its smartphones, Joshi said: "We started with a consignment of 1,000 phones and we are getting very good response. Now we have placed orders for two more consignments from China."
The company is selling the Croma smartphones priced between Rs 8,990 and Rs 10,990.
"Our idea is to add more smartphone models, which will be loaded with various features. The smartphones of the renowned brands are targetted at the upper segment of the society. However, the rest of people also have similar aspirations for good product and we will try to address that," he said.
The company has also launched various types of washing machines under the Croma brand, he added.
When asked how much revenue the company is looking at during this fiscal from its private labels, Joshi said: "We are targetting to achieve Rs 200 crore in 2013-14."
The private labels business clocked a sales turnover of Rs 130 crore in last fiscal against a target of Rs 180 crore, he added.
Commenting on the sourcing for private labels, he said: "At present 60 per cent are from India."

This is working for most of the android who has Cortex chipset processor in their device. I have tried personally in my Intex canvas Aqua Life III smartphone which is Cortex chipset enabled phone and this trick is working for me. let see �How to use Reliance Jio 4G Sim in 3G android mobile phone with cortex chipset processor�. In this Method you have to check your Device is Cortex chipset or not, for check what type of processor you are using install CPU-Z app. You must have atleast 4.4 Kitkat or more latest version to make Jio Sim Working.
Prerequisite
- CPU-Z
- Activated Jio Sim
Instruction
- Install and open the CPU-Z App, Check what type of Chipset You have .
- If you have cortex chipset (Like below Screenshot) follow the Instruction below
- Now Dail "*#*#4636#*#*" in your Dailpad
- It takes you to Engineering or testing or Service mode.
- Now click on the �Phone Information� and Hover to Set Preferred Network type.
- Click that Dropdown a list of Option Shows and select "LTE/GSM/CDMA auto(PRL)".
- Now Turn off your Device and Remove Simcards.
- Insert Activated Jio Sim in Slot 1 and remains slot 2 empty.
- Now �Switch ON� your device.
- Still it shows emergency call in the network.
- Go to setting>Cellular networks>Network Operator>Search Network.
- Search in Manual you can find "LOOP Mobile 4G", if u didnt find that keep searching until find that before that turn ON Data Connection.
- Select "LOOP Mobile 4G" and now you can acess Jio 4G in your 3G.
- Enjoy your 4G in 3G android Mobile.

1) First of all Download MTK Engineering Mode .
2) Now open the app .
3) After opening the app you will see 3 options .
4) Tap on MTK settings .
5) After you open the MTK settings again you will see many options .
6) Look for network selecting option and open that .
7) Now you will get option to select network . Just tap on 4G/3G/2G auto mode .
8) Now insert the JIO sim in the 1 slot .
9) Now make reboot of your device .
10) Thats All !!! You have successfully activated Jio 4g sim in 3G mobile .

1) First of all Download ShortCut master lite app .
2) Now open the app .
3) Now tap on menu button .
4) In the menu you will see Engineering mode / Service menu option .
5) Just tap on that and open it .
6) Now tap on system app option .
7) Now search for Engineering mode app .
8) Now open engineer mode and tap on change LTE bands .
9) Now Input *#2263# using dialer app .
10) Now go to the key input and enter 0000 .
11) Wait for sometime .
12) Now tap on UE settings .
13) After opening Ue Settings , Open settings > Protocol > Nas > Network control > Band selection > LTE band > Band 40 .
14) Now insert the JIO 4G sim in the first slot and restart your android device .
15) Thats all !!! Now you can use Jio sim in 3G snapdragon device .

4) As soon as you dial the code .

6) Tap on phone Information 1 .
7) Now you will get a option to set preferred network .
8) Just tap on that .
9) Now you will see many network options .
10) Now select the LTE only option .
11) Now press the home button and reboot your smartphone .
12) Thats all !!! by using this method you will be able to use reliance Jio in any 3G handset .
