Yesterday, I requested my friend to send me the snapshot of the PSD file of the Wordpress design. But he claimed that his Photoshop CS2 has expired. He thought of going to his friend and copying the snapshot and again sending back to me. Photoshop Document itself was large size, therefore I asked for the snapshot. If I was going to accept his idea, then I would have to wait whole day for just a snapshot.

Rather I suggested him certain idea to view PSD files without the need of Photoshop. And that is what I want to share with my visitors as well.

With IrfanView, a 1.3 MB image viewing freeware utility, you can open almost all the images without need of any high level software. Here is a list of image files that I can open.

How to Root Nexus 6P to Nougat 7 0 NBD90X Factory Image

The latest Android 7.0 Nougat NBD90X update for Huawei Nexus 6P is now rolling out . This new firmware carries the latest October security patch. A lot of security bugs were addressed in this update. Prerequisites:

• This root method is only for Android 7.0 (NBD90X) installed on Nexus 6P and I am not sure if it will work on the other variants of the Nexus 6P on other carriers.
• Your Nexus 6P bootloader should be unlocked.
• Nexus 6P should be on Android 7.0 NBD90X software version.

Important: Backup important files stored on your device before proceeding with the steps below, so that in case something goes wrong you�ll have backup of all your important files.

How to Root Nexus 6P on Nougat 7.0 NBD90X Factory Image

Step 1 � Download Android SDK from the Android Developers website and install. Also set it up with downloading platform-tools and USB drivers package in SDK. See: How to Set up ADB and Fastboot on Windows.

Step 2 � Enable USB Debugging mode in your Nexus 6P.

Step 3 � Download Fastboot from the following links depending on your OS and extract it in android-sdk-windowsplatform-tools directory. Create directory if not already there.

• Windows: Download here
• Mac: Download here
• Linux: Download here.

NOTE: Skip Steps 1, 2, 3 if you already have them.

Step 4 � Download SuperSU v2.78 for Nexus 6P on your PC, if you haven�t already.

Step 5 � Connect and mount your Nexus 6P USB memory on your computer using the USB cable.

Step 6 � Now copy/paste the SuperSU-v2.78-201609011115.zip file to your SD card. Make sure the file is in the SD card / internal storage root (not in any folder).

Step 7 � Then turn OFF your phone.

Step 8 � Download twrp-3.0.2-0-angler.img and save it to your android-sdk-windowsplatform-tools directory on your computer.

Step 9 � Now go into Fastboot/Bootloader Mode on Nexus 6P. How? Press Volume Down + Power keys for a few seconds till you see some text on the screen. This is Bootloader Mode.

Step 10 � Navigate to android-sdk-windowsplatform-tools directory and open Command Prompt (Shift + Right-click > Open Command Prompt).

Step 11 � Type in the following command and press Enter.

fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-angler.img

Step 12 � Once completed, choose RECOVERY from the Fastboot menu and enter Recovery Mode.

Step 13 � In ClockworkMod recovery, scroll down to �flash zip from SD card� and press the power button to select it.

Step 14 � Press the Power button again and select �choose zip from sdcard�.

Step 15 � Now using your volume keys, navigate to SuperSU-v2.78-201609011115.zip and select it using the Power button. Confirm the installation on the next screen and the installation procedure should start now.

Step 16 � After the installation completes, go to �+++++Go Back� and reboot the phone by selecting �reboot system now� from the Recovery menu. The phone will boot now and it might take about 5 minutes to boot on your first time. So, please wait.

Step 1 � Download Android N Factory Image on your PC, if you haven�t already.

•  Download Android N Factory Image for  Nexus 6P
•  Download Android N Factory Image for Nexus 5X
• Download Android N Factory Image for Nexus 6

Step 2 � Connect your Nexus Device to your computer using the USB cable.

Step 3 � Please make sure Fastboot is configured and properly installed on your computer.

Step 4 � Turn OFF your phone.

Step 5 � Get into the Fastboot/Bootloader Mode on your phone. Turn ON the phone while pressing and holding the Volume Up + Volume Down + Power buttons till you see the Fastboot menu and START on top.

• On Mac: Run the file �flash-all.sh� using Terminal.

• On Linux: Run the file �flash-all.sh�.

Step 8 � That�s pretty much that you had to do for flashing the stock factory image on your Nexus. Now wait and watch as the process is completed � or follow the on-screen instructions on your phone if in case you have to unlock the bootloader.

Step 9 � After the installation completes, the phone will boot now and it might take about 5 minutes to boot on your first time. So, please wait with patience!

That�s it! Your Nexus device should now have the official Android N NPD35K Developer Preview Beta software update installed on your phone using the stock factory image from Google! Go to Settings >About phone to verify.

How to Hide Any File in an Image File

In this tutorial, we will explain how to hide a file in an image. It is actually possible to put any file into an image file without altering the image�s function, which means the image file can still be opened normally. That may seem too complicated, but it is really easy. Read on and follow the steps below to get started.

You need to merge the file that you want to hide and the image file of your choice. Here�s how to do it.

1.Choose the file that you want to hide. For the purposes of this tutorial, I will hide an Excel file named 0.The Book.xls.

2.Compress the selected file into a ZIP file. You can right-click on the file, choose Send, and then click Compressed (zipped folder).
3.A compressed folder will be created on the same folder where your original file is located. You can now opt to delete or transfer the original file for back up purposes.
4.Once you have the file on the zipped folder, it is now time to choose the image file where you want to �bury� and hide the compressed folder. Here, I will be using the image of a Joker named why_so_serious.jpg.
5.Place the compressed folder and the image on the same folder. In this example, I will place the files on the Desktop. If you are not familiar with the Command Prompt, I suggest that you place the files on the Desktop so that you can follow along easily.
6.Take note of the compressed folder�s file name and the selected image�s file name.
7.Open Command Prompt. You can search for CMD on the search feature of your computer. You can also use the shortcut Windows+R (for run) and type in CMD.
8.With the Command Prompt open, change the directory to the Desktop by typing this command into the CMD Prompt: cd desktop.
9.Command Prompt will now show that you are on the Desktop. Enter this command into the CMD Prompt: copy/b filename_of_image + filename_of_zipped_folder. For this example, I typed in copy/b why_so_serious.jpg + 0.The.Book.zip.
10.Command Prompt will let you know that process has been completed when it shows the a file has been copied.
11.You will now notice that the image�s file size has now increased. This is because the file is now a combination of both the compressed folder and the image.
12.The selected file has been successfully hidden in an image. You have the option to delete the compressed folder or transfer it to another location or drive. You can still open the image, and it will still show the Joker, as in this example.

How to Open the Hidden File from an Image

The hidden file is somehow compressed into the image. To open the hidden file, you need to decompress it using a file decompression tool such as WinZip or WinRAR. For the purposes of this tutorial, I will use WinRAR. To open the hidden file using WinRAR, follow these steps:

1.Open your file decompression tool. In this case, I will open WinRAR.
2.Locate the destination path of the image file containing the hidden file. My file is located on the Desktop, so I will locate the file from there.
3.Click on OK, and the file will be decompressed on the same location. The decompressed folder will contain the same name as the image file.
4.Open the decompressed folder, and you should see the hidden file on it.
5.The extraction of the hidden file was a success. You can now open the file and use it as you like.
