HOW TO ROOT NOKIA X X XL INSTALL PLAYSTORE
Note:
This tutorial is strictly for Nokia X, X+ and XL.
No data is lost after this process.
You will need to to have at least 10% of battery on your device before you try this process.
Download an install Nokia X manager from here.
Download Gapps from here
Launch Nokia X manager and install Nokia drivers by clicking install ADB drivers button.
Wait for the drivers to install.
Enable Debug mode on the device by going to Settings > Developers option > USB Debugging (tick).
Connect the phone to the PC. Wait for Nokia X manager to detect the phone.
Now click Root Device.
Wait for your Device to boot into TWRP recovery.
Now on your device ( TWRP Menu ),
Click Mount > Tick System > Then click back.
Click Install > Navigate to phone storage > Select Update-SuperSU-v1.99r3.zip
Swipe the blue arrow icon to confirm.
Reboot phone.
If you will like to install Gapps (play store, gmail, g+ etc),
launch Nokia X manager, connect device and click install Gapps.
Select gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip from directory and press open.
Wait for phone to boot into TWRP recovery.
Click install > Navigate to SD Card > select NokiaX_GApps_package.zip.
Wait for the process to complete.
Reboot phone.
Congratulations you have just Rooted your device and installed Gapps.

1. First of all login to Gmail and click on Contacts at the top left side of the page.
2. Now on the menu an option is labeled as More, just click on Export.
3. You will get a pop, here just choose your contacts, and export all your contacts in vCard format.
4. Now copy vCard file to your Nokia X SD card by connecting the phone to your PC.
5. Use ASTRO File manager (preinstalled) to locate the vCard file and tap to open.
6. Once you have done this, your device will start importing your Gmail contacts to your Nokia X.

How To Install Uninstall Play Store From Nokia X X XL Without Rooting In Simple Easy Way
Earlier I have posted the tutorial to root Nokia X, X+ & XL with play store .In this thread I am going to show you how to install Google Play store without rooting your Nokia X, X+ AND XL.
Before installing Play Store on Nokia X, X+ and Nokia XL you need to do following things:
- Enable USB Debugging mode
- Launch device settings.
- Tap Developer options
- Enable USB debugging in the Debugging section (Make sure USB debugging is checked)
After doing all the above procedures download Nokia X Tool Kit with Nokia X Manager here.
After downloading the the above file extract them on your pc using winrar and you will have a folder like below picture in your pc.

Open the folder and inside it you will see two files like below picture

Now run Setup_NokiaXMgr_v1.1.0.0 to install it on your computer.

After installing NokiaX Manager on your PC open it up on your pc and it should be look like a below picture

Now connect your Nokia X, X+ & XL with you pc until Nokia X Manager detects your phone and it should be look like a below picture (All the grey fields in Nokia X Manager will go black . If incase it doesnt detect your phone than this means you have not enabled a Usb Debugging mode or else drivers are not installed.

Now in the above picture you can see that we have install GApps option press it and you will see a window like below picture

Now press ok and you will see another window like a below picture

Now this is File Explorer of your pc which have opened up to locate Google Play files which we have already downloaded in our PC (Nokia Tool Kit With Nokia X Manager). Locate the file like a below picture

Inside the above folder we have one files like a below picture follow caption instruction

At the moment we are installing Gapps on our phone so we will choose Install Gapps from a below picture. Note: If we will choose Uninstalling Gapps option from Nokia X Manager then we will obviously choose Uninstalling G Apps option from below picture

After following all the above screenshot instructions you will have window like below picture on you Nokia X Manager. Due to any circumstances if nokia x manager give you error not responding dont get panic let it finish its work and your phone will be temporarily rebooted to TWRP to install Gapps in your phone as msg given by Nokia X manager in a below picture.

Now all the things goes to phone it self follow below screen caption
Now your phone is TWRP temporarily and here you have to press Mount like above picture
Now you have to press Mount Usb Storage like a above picture. Make sure after pressing Mount Usb Storage you will take out a usb cable from your phone
Now press back key like a above picture
Now press Install like a above picture
Now here drag below and search for NokiaX_Gapps_Package Zip file like above picture
Now on above picture swipe to confirm flash. TWRP install Gapps on your phone then press reboot. Please note if by any chance your phone get stuck in rebooting take out a battery of your phone insert it back and turn on your phone. Your phone will have playstore installed in it. If it doesnt have it follow all the procedures again.
PLEASE NOTE:
In some cases Nokia X, X+ & XL dont show Playstore when you restart them, but there is a trick to make it visible
WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IF PLAYSTORE IS STILL NOT VISIBLE AFTER INSTALLING IT.
Download the front line commando 2 apk and extract it using winrar on you pc and transfer it to your phone. Install it on your phone (make sure unknown sources is checked in your phone to install a apk) and open it with Wifi enabled on your phone it will ask you to update the game press update and you will see two options select update from play store and you will shortly see a play store on your phone. This trick seems weird but this is how sometimes things work.

Reset your phone.
Important:
Resetting your phone erases allpersonal content, including apps, and restores the factory settings.
1. Switch your phone off and make sure
the charger is disconnected.
2. Press and hold the volume up key.
3. Press the power key for about 1
second.
4. When the phone vibrates, release the
power key, but continue holding the
volume up key, until the phone is fully booted up. This procedure will boot the phone in recovery mode.
5. Use the volume up/down keys to navigate through the menu and select the wipe data/factory resetoption.
6. Press the power key to activate the
option and reset the phone.

Hard Reset Using Hardware Keys
Step 1.Switch off your phone.
Step 2.Press together volume up and power button.
Step 3.When Nokia logo appears on screen, release your finger from the power button but keep pressing volume up. You will reach to recovery screen as seen in the screenshot below.
Step 4.Select with volume keys “wipe data/ factory reset” and press power key to confirm.
Step 5.Select “yes” and press power to
confirm.
Step 6.Press power key to confirm “reboot”
Step 7.Wait until the phone restarts.
Manual Reset
If your phone is not working properly, you can reset your phone to its original settings. This deletes all data from your phone, including any apps you’ve downloaded.
Back up the content you want to keep to a compatible memory card or to a compatible computer.
End all calls and connections.
On the start screen, swipe left, and tap
Setting> Backup and reset.
Tap Factory reset > Reset.
If asked, type in the security code.
Tap Reset. After restoring the original settings, your phone switches off and then on again. This may take longer than usual.

Hello fandroids, this is a step by step tutorial to show you how you can easily root and unroot and then install Plat Store on your Nokia X, X+ and XL in a easy steps using a Frame software (this method doesn�t require pc to root your device, all the things can be done easily on your phone itself). Dont use rooting to pirate applications and games, only use it for productive work. I am showing you this guide because lot of people are worried about the phone storage and want to transfer games in to their external sd card to play games and as well as they are missing playstore from Nokia X.
To Root and Unroot your Nokia X with playstore you have to download below three files on
your PC or else you can download them directly into your Nokia X

1. Download a frame root software in your pc or mobile directly by pressing a link below:

2. Download Root Explorer in your Pc or mobile

Once you download all the above link in your Pc they will look like below picture on your Pc. The third file in a below picture is Winrar File and you have to extract it on your Pc using a Winrar.

After Extracting the "NokiaX_Gapps_KashaMalaga_28.02.2014" using Winrar you will see a folder like below picture

Now copy all the files highlighted in the below in to your phone Internal Memory inside Download

Now after following all the above steps disconnect your phone from PC and on your phone get into
Astro File manager as shown in the picture below, if unluckily you dont have Astro File Manager download it from Nokia Store which is integrated in the phone itself.
Now get inside Astro File Manager and you see a window like below picture on your phone
Now get inside a sdcard0 and you will see all the internal storage files like a below picture
Now here you have to get into a download folder because we have transfer three files to Nokia X
inside download folder and you will see three folders like below picture
Now click on the Frameroot file to install it on your phone like a below picture
Now open framearoot and to Root your device by pressing Gandalf like below pictures
Now like a below picture you will see that rooting is successful
Now you have successfully Rooted your device with Root Access and its time to restart your device to install Play Store
Please Note: This method is a old method to install root on Nokia X, X+ & XL if you have updated your device you may be not Gaining root access on your Nokia X, X+ & XL. So watch below links to Root your Nokia X, X+ & XL. There are two methods to root these devices.

HOW TO INSTALL PLAY STORE ON NOKIA X, X+ AND XL
To install Play Store on Nokia X you have to get in to Astro File Manager again and then get into phone internal storage to access 2nd file which is shown below in blue folder and called Root Explorer. Install this file on your phone.
After installing Root Explorer on your phone open it up and you will see a window like below picture on your phone
Now you have to scroll down the above page on your phone to search for sdcard folder like a below picture
Now once you get into sdcard files you will see your phone internal storage and you have to search
for a Download folder like a below picture
Now inside download folder we have "NokiaX_Gapps_KashaMalaga_28.02.2014" like a below
picture
Now get into NokiaX_Gapps_KashaMalaga_28.02.2014 folder and you will see several Apks inside a folder like a below picture
Now tick all the Apks like below picture because we have to copy them into system/apps folder
Make sure all the 23 Apks are ticked like above picture, now press copy icon which is appearing on the left bottom corner in the above picture. After pressing Copy icon press back key on Nokia X three times and search for system folder like below picture and get inside system folder.
Inside system folder there is a app folder like a below picture get inside it and press copy here
Now after doing this step you will see a window like below picture and here you have to press
Grant Access
Now you have successfully installed playstore on your device and after restarting your device you will see a Playstore like a below picture
HOW TO UNROOT NOKIA X, X+ AND XL
Its very easy to unroot your Nokia X using a Framearoot just get into Framaroot and now like a below picture select unroot and press Gandalf.
