Repartition How to increase apps storage in Micromax Unite 2 without PC
Micromax Unite 2 comes with 0.89 GB of phone storage for apps installation. 0.89 GB is not enough for apps. We can increase this memory by data repartition.
You need:
1. CWM recovery (Flashing guide)
2. EBRs (Download any one zip file from below link, also download stock partition file)
a) For Jellybean 4 GB ROM (Download)
b) For Kitkat 4 GB ROM (Download)
c) For Jellybean 8 GB ROM (Download)
d) For Kitkat 8 GB ROM (Download)

3. Micromax Unite 2 / Myphone Rio Lite
Note:
Internal memory = Total ROM - ( 1.44 GB + apps memory)
If ROM is 8 GB and phone memory is 2.5 GB then internal memory will be 4 GB.
Make Backups before flashing:
1. Nandroid backup (Guide)
NOTE: You dont need a rooted phone for repartition. Factory reset is required after flashing EBRs so please make recovery backup or titanium backup if you want to restore data. Install App Backup and Restore from play store to backup apks. Move all data like pictures, videos and other files from internal sd card to external sd card or pen drive.
To repartition phone storage follow these steps:
Step 1: Flash custom recovery. Click HERE for guide (If you dont want to root your phone then follow PC METHOD to flash recovery).
Step 2: Put downloaded zip file in external SD card.
Step 3: Switch off phone and press vol up + vol down + power button to reboot to recovery. Press vol down to select install zip from sdcard then press power button.
Step 4: Select choose zip from sdcard then press power button.

1. Drivers (Download | How to install drivers)
2. SP Flash Tool (Download)
4. EBRs (Download any one from below)
a) 5.5 GB for apps (Download)

c) 4.5 GB for apps (Download)
d) 4 GB for apps (Download)
e) 3.5 GB for apps (Download)
f) 3 GB for apps (Download)
g) 2.5 GB for apps (Download)
5. Micromax Unite 2 [8 GB ROM]
Note:

NOTE: You dont need a rooted phone or custom recovery for repartition. But if you dont have above mentioned backups then first root your phone and make backups before repartition. Factory reset is required after flashing EBRs so please make recovery backup or titanium backup if you want to restore data. Move all data like pictures, videos and other files from internal sd card to external sd card or pen drive.
To repartition phone storage follow these steps:
Step 1: Extract/unzip all downloaded files. Open SP Flash Tool and load the Scatter file from downloaded EBR folder (Choose from Jellybean or Kitkat). EBR1 and EBR2 will be added automatically.
Step 2: Switch off your phone and remove the battery (Dont connect your phone to PC).
Step 3: Make sure only EBR1 and EBR2 are selected then click Download in SP Flash Tool.
Step 4: Insert battery and connect your phone via USB cable (Dont switch on). Wait for few seconds to finish flashing. You will see a green circle after successful flashing.
Step 5: Remove USB cable and press vol down + vol up + power button to reboot to recovery. If you are using stock recovery then you will see an android icon. Now press power button to see recovery options. Press vol down to select wipe data/factory reset.
CWM users press power button for OK and stock recovery users press menu key (left most) for OK.
Step 6: Press vol down to select Yes -- delete all user data.

As We Know that Micromax Unite 2 phone have very low internal storage for apps no matter you have 8 GB rom or 4 GB still you got 890mb for internal app storage.
Dont Worry still You can Increase internal app storage in easy steps WITHOUT PC.
******************************REQUIREMENTS************************************
1. Micromax Unite 2 ( Rooted) or other Micromax phone if phone is not rooted. How to root? In case your Unite 2 is not rooted, Click on How To root your unite 2 without pc.
2. Hk Rom Editor.apk ( Download Hk Rom Editor)
3. Make a backup because our phone gets reset. Using Recovery Mode Process.
************************************STEPS***************************************
1. Download Hkrom Editor.apk in your phone and Install it and open it.
2. Then you will see MTK 6582 devices Something like that CLICK on it.
3. Drag the Blue dot to last which will show you increase memory( See in below image).

4. Click on Apply After drag it to last ( 2.5 Gb/2.5 Gb) Or As you Wish You Want according to choice.

5. After Click on apply Wait for 2 to 5 minutes After sometime a New Pop up message will come on your mobile screen ( See in image below)

6. Click on "Reboot Recovery" and your mobile will reboot and take some time to start after that your internal app Storage will be increased. ( See in image below)
7. Congrats You successfully increased your Micromax Unite 2 or other Micromax phones internal app storage WITHOUT PC.
