HOWTO ROOT No Tripping Flash Counter ATT Bell Telus Rogers Sasktel
Please make sure you download the correct image for your phone. ATT / Bell / Telus / Rogers / Sasktel
This method uses Odin to flash a factory stock image to your phone that simply has root injected into it. These are FULL stock and as such will flash the stock bootloader, recovery, modem, kernel and system image.
Video posted of this and other options for root. Good to watch before starting if you are new!

You can get ODIN here
and the drivers for the SGH-I747 so ODIN can detect your phone can be found at Samsungs site. Click on the Manuals & Downloads tab at the bottom and then on Software for the latest driver.
First download the stock odin tar that has a rooted system image injected into it:

If you want the universal search back that the above update has removed then simply replace the apk below into /system/app/

AT&T Users wanting latest ICS only The last full ICS rom that was released was LG1. The latest OTA for ICS is LH9.
After following the steps outlined below you should then head over to this thread if you want to apply the OTA updates and retain root.
Note: if your phone shipped with LH9 you will want to perform a factory reset in stock recovery before performing the below otherwise youll get errors when you boot into your system.

Second,
Extract the root66_xxx_.tar.md5 from the .7z file you downloaded.
Use Odin, put phone into download mode [with phone off, hold vol. down + home + power ], connect to computer and open Odin.
once in odin click the PDA field and select the root66_xxx_.tar.md5 you downloaded.
Leave Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time checked.
click start and
when done let phone reboot.
If you have issues flashing with Odin please ensure you are using the microusb cable that came with the phone, users have had issues using other cables.
If you just want a stock, rooted phone with no custom recovery, no plans to flash custom roms, etc. then you can stop HERE.
Third, (optional) On JellyBean versions, flashing a custom recovery will trip your counter no matter the method used.
To get clockworkmod recovery loaded so you can flash whatever you want, nandroid, etc then continue on....
Once rebooted you can grab a universal recovery that works on all sgs3 LTE variants from here: http://www.epiccm.org/2012/06/cwm-re...-variants.html
if you download this recovery you will need to extract this file (if you have issues extracting try removing the .md5 extension first) to get a recovery.img file and copy to your phones internal /sdcard
However if you have the ATT model (not sure if this will work on Bell, Telus, Rogers, etc.), this recovery will see the extSdCard and seems better for our devices:
For ATT models use either this recovery or this touch recovery.
connect your phone to computer and use adb
type adb shell
once in the shell run su
then
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p18
Third, alternate if unfamiliar with adb commands
Grab android terminal emulator from the play store and run the same commands starting with su in the box below.

Decide if you want to use TWRP or CWM.
If you would like to install ClockworkMod recovery then grab Rom Manager from the Play store and in the menu select to install ClockworkMod Recovery.
If you would like to install TeamWin Recovery Project then grab GooManager from the Play store and select the option to "Install OpenRecovery Script".
Using the methods above, at least in my two tests, wiped nothing off my phone. everything in sdcard remained etc.

De-Bloater
If youve made it this far with a stock, rooted phone with cwm and you dont want to flash a custom rom (which will do its own de-bloating) you can check out my Aroma installer based De-bloater to easily get rid of bloat system apps you no longer want to see. Simply flash in CWM like anything else and you will be presented with a menu system to choose what to remove. If you are unsure it is safe to pick Recommended and still get a decent de-bloat.Miscellaneous Files

HOW TO ROOT AND UNROOT SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 3 ALL VARIANTS USING VROOT WITHOUT TRIPPING KNOX
Hello Fandroids, this is a step by step tutorial to show Rooting and Unrooting of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on all variants. This tutorial show you a safe method to root and unroot your Note 3 without a data loss and without harming your device unless you will do something wrong during following my instructions. Dont use rooting to pirate applications and games, only use it for productive work. I am showing you this tutorial, because lot of people are worried about Tripping their Knox warranty on Note 3 and they want to keep intact the warranty as well as they want root on their devices. However rooting helps you to overclock CPU speed as well as many other things. But to keep it simple stay with the basics.
HOW TO ROOT
STEP 1:
First of all make sure you have made a full back of your Note using a Samsung Kies which can be downloaded from Samsung Official Site. Now once you have installed a Samsung Kies and open it with your Note 3 connected with your computer, it will automatically detect your phone and install all the necessary hardware of your phone in your computer. When you connect your phone with your pc it will look like a below picture in Samsung Kies.

After doing this step, make sure you have closed down a Samsung Kies as well as you have disconnected your phone from computer.
STEP 1
Download a VRoot Tool Kit to Root your Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

STEP 2
Now you have to get in to your phone setting like a below picture (Pictures shown in rooting method is of LG G2 but you have to do the same things to root your Note 3 because these devices can be easily rooted from vroot tool kit. So dont get hesitate by looking at the G2 pictures below you have to do same thing on your Note 3 all Variants.
Press About Phone and you will see a window like a below picture
Now here you have to hit Build Number may be 5 or 6 times repeatedly because it will give us developer options like below picture in settings
Now enter in to developer options and Enable USB Debugging like a Below Picture
STEP 3:
Now open up a Vtool Kit that you have installed in Step 1 in your PC and it will look like a below picture

Here all the things are written in Chinese, but dont get worried just simply connect your phone with your PC using a micro usb cable which comes up with the phone and you will see a window like below picture on your phone and you have to press ok here (some time it doesnt appear on Sony devices so dont get worried.
Vroot Kit will show you your Note 3 logo like a below picture in it when you press ok in your phone. It will take some time to show your phone logo because its going to install all the neccessary drivers into your pc or laptop. So dont panic unless your phone logo appears in vroot kit.

Now just simply click root and enjoy a full root on your device without tripping a Knox

Now once it rooted your phone get restarted and you will see Super Su in your device like a below picture that means you have successfully rooted your Note 3 all variants
So guys now you have super user installed on your device and you can download RegionLock Away from play store to fully terminate a region locking on your device.

HOW TO UNROOT
Its very easy to Unroot Note 3 after rooting it. Make sure you have installed proper drivers by installing Kies on your PC. If you have followed my steps to root your device, you must have all the drivers installed by now. If you have not did rooting by looking at the above tutorial, then just have a quick go at Rooting process (Step 1). To unroot your Note 3 you need three things which are going to take little bit longer than rooting your phone.
