Before that let me tell why our symbian v5 phones are slow. The main reason is the hardware. Usually Nokia 5233, 5800 and other s60v5 mobiles have only 120 MB of Ram and 400 MHz processor. New mobiles have double or triple this hardware configuration. Resistive touch screen and old OS is also a problem. Lets have a try with this trick and give us your feedback as comment
How to increase speed of s60v5 Nokia 5233, 5800 and other Symbian Phones
- Go to Menu- -> Settings --> Personal --> Themes
- Select Options --> Theme effects --> Off
- Done
What we done is disabling the theme effects. Theme effects are animations or transitions while opening menu or other applications. Disabling it can increase speed. Notice the time taken to open Menu before and after doing this. Helped?? Write your feedback as comments
