HTC Launches New M8 with 5 inch Full HD Display Duo Camera
HTC Launches New M8. The Features are:
The HTC One M8 has a 5-inch full HD display. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with HTC Sense 6 on top. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2.5 GHz quad-core Krait CPUs and 2GB of RAM. It measures 146.36 x 70.6 x 9.35 mm.
On the rear, the smartphone has the new UltraPixel Duo camera featuring BSI sensor, pixel size 2.0 um, sensor size 1/3�, f/2.0, 28mm lens, HTC ImageChip 2 and 1080p Full HD video recording with HDR video. HTC says its camera captures 300% more light, while the secondary camera lens helps in detecting and separating backgrounds and foregrounds. The camera also features Slow Motion mode, which lets users shoot HD slo-mo videos. The front camera has 5MP, BSI sensor, wide angle lens, with HDR capability and 1080p Full HD video recording.
The HTC One M8 has improved audio features with the new HTC BoomSound. The smartphone has dual frontal stereo speakers with built in amplifiers Sense Voice. HTC says the new flagship delivers about 25% louder than the predecessor HTC One M7. Also read our HTC One Review
The new BlinkFeed is said to be more intuitive and has new SDK that enables developers to integrate their own content, users can more easily find and subscribe to new media sources, in addition to instantly creating custom feeds on any topic.
The phone features an integrated fitness tracking with the preloaded Fitbit app, which is also compatible with BlinkFeed. The Sense TV feature allows users to conversation about the programme online with integrated official Facebook and Twitter streams along with all the latest fan commentary from your social circles.
Theres also a Motion Launch feature, which HTC touts as the �sixth sense�. According to HTC, Motion Launch is capable of detecting position and movement, allowing users to interact with phone without turning on the screen. With a simple swipe users can active device. Auto Answer allows you to answer a call by putting the phone to your ear without touching the screen. HTC also offers Dot View flip covers that display notifications, time and weather updates and the ability to answer calls, without the need to uncover the phone.
The smartphone will be available in 16GB and 32GB storage versions, while the expansion card slot supports microSD memory card for up to 128GB additional storage.
For connectivity, the HTC One M8 supports 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX enabled, Wi-Fi, HTC Connect, micro-USB 2.0, 2G, 3G and 4G LTE (in select countries). A 2600 mAh battery powers the smartphone and is rated to deliver talk time up to 20 hours for 3G.
The HTC One (M8) will be available globally in Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and will be rolled out in the South Asia region in the coming weeks. According to reports, the smartphone will be available in India in April.

IFA 2012 Dell unveils three Windows 8 devices XPS 10 Duo 12 and One 27
Dell introduced three Windows 8 devices at IFA 2012, the XPS 10 hybrid, XPS Duo 12 touch laptop, and a refreshed XPS One 27 all-in-one PC. Unfortunately, the company revealed very few details about the devices, and none at all about pricing. All three devices should be available in October, after the Windows 8 launch.
Sam Burd, global vice president, PC product group at Dell, spoke about the new announcements at IFA 2012: "The XPS 10, XPS Duo 12 and XPS One 27 represent the culmination of a deep understanding of the Bring Your Own Device movement and insights gained from both our consumer and business customers. The new set of products Dell unveiled today represents a milestone in our design and approach to user experience. Our vision for our XPS line of computers is not just about the device or technology, its about achieving the perfect balance of amazing design, end user productivity and IT enablement."
Dell says the XPS 10 �embodies the intersection between work and play� with its �intuitive touch capability, long battery life and mobile keyboard dock for enhanced content creation and business productivity.� It features a 10-inch multi-touch display, and an unnamed ARM processor. According to Dell, the XPS 10 will have an extraordinary 20 hour battery life.
Dell also unveiled the XPS Duo 12, a laptop-tablet hybrid or convertible laptop with a 12.5-inch touch display, which can be converted into a tablet form factor by swivelling the display over, onto the keyboard. Processor options range up to Intel Core i7s, and even an ARM Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor, to power the RT version.
Of the three products unveiled, the XPS One 27 AIO PC had the most information revealed about it, probably because it is a refresh with a touch display and Windows 8. It features a 10-point touch 27-inch display with a 2560x1440 pixel (Quad HD) resolution, up to 16GB of RAM, up to a 2TD hard disk, the choice of Core i5 or i7 processors, and an optional discrete GPU (GeForce GT640M).
