HP unveils Slate 21 Android tablet with a 21 5 inch display
HP has announced a massive Android tablet which is dubbed as HP Slate 21. This device is slated to be launched in the US market in September this year and can be considered as All in One device which comes with a back hinge which allows users to use it as a desktop monitor.
HP Slate 21 sports a 21.5 inch display screen which is full HD IPS in nature. This device runs on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and has been powered by a quad core Tegra 4 processor
which is coupled with a 2 GB RAM space. There is about 8 GB of onboard memory space and also a micro SD card slot for expanding the external storage space. The special thing about this tablet is that it comes fitted in with a HP TrueVision HD webcam.
HP Slate 21 supports many connectivity options such as USB 2.0, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi etc. For music lovers, this device has been bundled up with DTS Sound Technology. The hinge kickstand provided with this device rotates 15-70 degrees which helps make this tab a full screen desktop. The price and availability of this tablet in India are still unknown.

IFA 2012 HTC unveils Desire X with dual core processor ICS
HTC has unveiled the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-based Desire X smartphone at the IFA event in Berlin. Even though HTC did not reveal the Desire Xs pricing, the device is said to bridge the gap between the companys low-end Desire C and mid-range One V. The Desire X is slated to hit the European markets in September this year.The HTC Desire X, previously rumoured as the HTC Proto, runs on Android 4.0 with Sense on top (no word on the Jelly Bean update yet). The device is powered by a Qualcomm 1GHz dual-core processor. It has 768MB of RAM. The Desire X features a 4-inch LCD with 800x480 resolution, 5MP rear camera with autofocus coupled with companys proprietary ImageChip, Beats Audio, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot that supports storage up to 32GB. It comes with a 1,650 mAh battery, which is apparently rated to deliver talktime up to 1200 minutes for GSM.
For connectivity, the device supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0. Check out the full specifications of the device here. HTC is also offering 25GB of Dropbox storage, with a two year subscription.

Dell introduced three Windows 8 devices at IFA 2012, the XPS 10 hybrid, XPS Duo 12 touch laptop, and a refreshed XPS One 27 all-in-one PC. Unfortunately, the company revealed very few details about the devices, and none at all about pricing. All three devices should be available in October, after the Windows 8 launch.
Sam Burd, global vice president, PC product group at Dell, spoke about the new announcements at IFA 2012: "The XPS 10, XPS Duo 12 and XPS One 27 represent the culmination of a deep understanding of the Bring Your Own Device movement and insights gained from both our consumer and business customers. The new set of products Dell unveiled today represents a milestone in our design and approach to user experience. Our vision for our XPS line of computers is not just about the device or technology, its about achieving the perfect balance of amazing design, end user productivity and IT enablement."
Dell says the XPS 10 �embodies the intersection between work and play� with its �intuitive touch capability, long battery life and mobile keyboard dock for enhanced content creation and business productivity.� It features a 10-inch multi-touch display, and an unnamed ARM processor. According to Dell, the XPS 10 will have an extraordinary 20 hour battery life.
Dell also unveiled the XPS Duo 12, a laptop-tablet hybrid or convertible laptop with a 12.5-inch touch display, which can be converted into a tablet form factor by swivelling the display over, onto the keyboard. Processor options range up to Intel Core i7s, and even an ARM Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor, to power the RT version.
Of the three products unveiled, the XPS One 27 AIO PC had the most information revealed about it, probably because it is a refresh with a touch display and Windows 8. It features a 10-point touch 27-inch display with a 2560x1440 pixel (Quad HD) resolution, up to 16GB of RAM, up to a 2TD hard disk, the choice of Core i5 or i7 processors, and an optional discrete GPU (GeForce GT640M).
