i am a user of gionee p4 mobile i tried several types of rooting apps to root my gionee p4 mobile but none of them work perfectly at last i found an app called iroot (formally vroot)
rooting steps
first download and install iroot app in your pc.( just google it you can find the app)
make sure you have enough battery power in your mobile
connect your mobile to your pc and select usb debugging mode
open the iroot app it will automatically detects your moible and checks for rooting status after that click on root and wait for the process to complete( be patient it takes some time dont pull your moblie while process is goming on otherwise your mobile may be bricked)
after successful rooting you find kinguser app in your mobile........
note: when i rooted my mobile with iroot i saw 2 unknown apps so verify apps in your mobile go to apps section and is there any new unknown apps are installed or not( if you have ES EXPLORER you can go to settings>library>app now below you find a view icon select it and select modified 2nd one.. then you cane see which are the recently installed apps if they are unknown to u just uninstall those apps)
