When you need to perform a Hard Reset?

What to do before performing the Hard Reset?
- In case your Samsung mobile phone can connect to a computer then it is better to make a backup of your saved data using Samsung kies software.
- But in case that is not possible then you can check that your phones battery has enough charging, Otherwise you should charge it.
Samsung SGH-T679 Exhibit II 4G T-Mobile Hard Reset Steps:
- Make sure that your Samsung SGH-T679 Exhibit II 4G T-Mobile is Off.
- Take out its battery for 10 seconds, Then put it in again.
- Press and hold Volume Up key then press Power key.
- Keep pressing the above keys until Samsung logo appears,Then when you see Samsung Logo release Power key only.
- Keep Pressing Volume Up key until you see the Android opened box on screen, Then release the Volume Up key.
- Press Menu button for two seconds, And you will be into Factory reset menu.
- Use Volume Down key to scroll down and select Wipe Data / Factory Reset option.
- Use Home button to confirm the operation.
- You need to use the Volume Down key again to select "Yes -- delete all user data"
- Use Home button to confirm the operation.
- After performing the hard reset, Select Reboot System Now option, And confirm it using Home button.
- Now the phone will reboots, Wait for it to be fully on and then you can start using it.
Notice: The hard reset operation will delete anything that are saved in your phones internal memory, So make a backup of your data in case you can access them.

HOW TO ROOT SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 SGH T999V
Make sure the Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-T999V is running on android 4.4.2
Download an install Samsung USB drivers from here. or ADB drivers from here
Download an extract this files to your computer from here.
Always make sure the battery of the device is about 25% before trying this.
Power off the Smart Phone. Then press Volume down button, Home button and then Power button to boot the device into Download mode. When you see the Warning Triangle press Volume up to continue.
Launch Odin3 from the file that you downloaded earlier. Now connect the device to the computer using a USB.
Odin will recognize the device when connected to the computer and show added at the lower left end.
Now click on PDA and select CF-Auto-Root.tar. Click Start to begin the process. When a green box appears with PASS!, the device will reboot.
Check your device if it is rooted by looking for Supersu app in your application list.
