How to install fastboot drivers for xperia devices on windows 8 1
This guide will help you to install fastboot and adb drives on Windows 8 / windows 8.1.
Step 1
Download and install flashtool
http://www.flashtool.net/downloads.php
Step 2 (install drives)
Press win+C key combination to bring charms menu
Then click on Settings
Click on change PC settings
Select Update and recovery
click on recovery
Then restart now under the advanced startup selection
When computer has rebooted click on troubleshoot
Then advanced options
Startup settings
Restart
Once computer restarted press F7 for �Disable driver signature enforcement�
After that computer will reboot to desktop
Now you will be able to install fastboot drivers without any errors
Go to flashtool installation directory and run flashtool-drivers from drives folder (usually c:flashtooldrivers)
Install drivers
And you�re done
