How to install drivers for MediaTek devices

You must install drivers to connect your phone to pc via USB cable. After successful installation you can flash recoveries, stock/custom ROMs, etc.

You Need:
1. Drivers (Download)

Follow these steps to install drivers in win xp, win 7, win 8 or win 8.1:

Step 1: Extract/unzip downloaded zip file.

Step 2: Open folder "New inst. win 7&8x64"

 Step 3: If you are using 32-bit system then open dpinst.exe. For 64-bit system open DPInst64.exe.

 Step 4: Click Next.

 Step 5: If asked click Install this driver software anyway.

Step 6: After successful installation click Finish and restart pc.

Note: If facing problem in driver installation then turn off driver signature verification.
