I can’t open my InfraWorks Project…
If your InfraWorks Project no longer open or you are unable to work with it anymore, it is a couple of things that you could do to try to make it work again�
This is the default location of your Project Files:
C:UsersUSER_NAMEDocumentsAutodesk InfraWorks Models
InfraWorks Projects have two components:
1. *.files folder (Project_Name.files)
2. *.sqlite file (Project_Name.sqlite)
There are two hidden .git file folders in the project that you need to look for:
C:UsersUSER_NAMEDocumentsAutodesk InfraWorks Models
C:UsersUSER_NAMEDocumentsAutodesk InfraWorks Models
Select and delete index files in both of these folders.
If for some reason you cant delete these folders reboot your computer, it could be that some of the �git� processes are still running.
If after deleting the index files the Project still does not work; then delete both .gif folders.
**Important to know: Deleting the .git folders will result in converting the currently open proposal to be the master, and all other proposals including the master will be lost.**
