If you are a techie then this weight loss “diet” is for you! Ok it’s more of tool than a diet
If you are a techie then this weight loss “diet” is for you! Ok it’s more of tool than a diet
Yes, Im a techie and I love online services, I also love my food and the past few years have seen an increase in the number of beers that I carry in my beer-boep (and some hidden in all sorts of other places!).
However, Im no techie when it comes to counting calories and fat and carbs and sugar and fibre and cholesterol and protein and sodium thats where this amazing, free service comes into play: SlimKicker
From then onwards, it was a pretty routine set of things that I needed to remember to do:
1) enter what I ate
2) enter what exercises I did
3) enter my current weight
The site does the rest: calculates how many calories (and fat and carbs and sugar and fibre and cholesterol and protein and sodium) I consumed and compared that with the targeted amounts.
Each time I entered a food, it would (in bite size text) feed back the good and bad of what I had eaten. {Excuse all the puns in there!}
Theres a points system to help motivate you to the next levels.
All of this is very nicely presented and your statistics are charted to show progress.
The difficult bit is remembering to enter the food eaten in fact, the less I eat, then the less I have to enter thats motivation in itself!
Theres a social part to the web site too: you can make friends for additional motivation.
Theres a huge selection of exercises that people have entered and you can add your own:
Check out their Food Calorie Calculator: http://slimkicker.com/foodDatabase
I mean, did you know that Canned anchovies had all of this in 1 anchovy?: 8 calories, 0.39g fat, 1.16g protein.
Also, Cappuccino beverages will be rich in calcium and protein content if prepared with low fat milk.
The resources and articles are well written and brief and to-the-point so its quick and easy to learn about food and how to eat healthily.
I can really say that this site has motivated me to watch what I eat and do some exercise. The points and charts and badges and levels have in fact added to the motivation factor (believe it or not).
I also enjoy updating the web site and learning (a little at a time) whats good and healthy to eat and what isnt.
So, if you like the web, and you like looking at your figures then why not get started and start losing all that unhealthy fat now?

If a USB Stick will do why a notebook
If a USB Stick will do why a notebook

Travel with a notebook? It is not news. But Travel with a USB Stick? See how I manages my daily business during travelling with a USB Stick but not a burdensome notebook?
I work for a consulting agency. My job requires me to travel a lot all over the world. And, as is very common with other business people, I have to carry me with a notebook to deal with business and process documents and data during my travels so that I can maintain good communications with headquarters and my clients.
Thanks to my reliable Fujitsu as well as my effective helper and old friends, I mean, MS office, Outlook.. They are really useful and indispensable if you have been with them for years. Anyway, I need them to work.
However, *** happens.
It is last month when I was in Rio, and I had to draft a form of tender at the time. To my great chagrin, I was robed of all my valuables, my watch, my camera, my wallet and my notebook. I hope in 2016 it will be better. Then I contacted my friends there and started to work on the tender, which is the most urgent.
Until then I found how important my Fujitsu and the whole suite of my software are to me. I can almost do nothing on my friends computer, there was even not a standard MS office installed, not to say other my frequently used ones, and whats more, I could not find reference file in my computer.
After this, I am thinking hard, is there a way that I can compress all my own computer system and files in to a USB stick or an external hard disk? In that way, I can just make a backup for my own computer so that when in emergency or my computer is not available, I can easily have access to my own computer system, I mean, my Windows, my desktop, my favorites, my software, my files etc, from other computers just taking a USB or iPOD.
I though I was daydreaming until last Monday when I met one of my clients who also usually go on business trip. For his kindness, he recommended Prayaya V3 to me; he said V3 can carry all of his data, documents, and computer programs into a removable storage device. So he usually goes out even without computer, and only carries a small removable hard disk. what he does is find a computer and do his business on that computer. I doubted about it at first, because I thought that was impossible. But considering all the trouble I had, I decided to have a try on V3.
I downloaded V3 firstly. I found that it was a Virtual Microsoft Windows Operating System with a size of only 6 MB; then installed it on my personal storage device. Then I installed MS 2003 into my V3-enabled USB storage device now.

How to Know if a Girl Likes You 30 Signs Of Attraction Infographics
How to Know if a Girl Likes You 30 Signs Of Attraction Infographics
30 Signs Of Attraction to Know if a Girl Likes You

Tips From Me:
- Take care when you do discover a girl likes you. If your own nerves lead you to make fun of her in front of your friends, give her the cold shoulder or act stupid around her, she will lose faith in you and start to feel less certain that youre worth the effort. Be considerate of her feelings too.
- Do something nice like doing her a favor. If she eventually tries to do something nice to you back, this might be a hint that she likes you.
- Have hope when your girl is shy. She is less likely to reveal her desire for you in open ways; you will need to be patient and considerate. Seek to become friends before all else, and take it slowly from there.
- If she asks you to go out and do something with her only or with another couple, this may indicate that she is trying to send you the message that she wants to be more than friends.
- Confident girls will ask you all sorts of intimate things. Dont assume that this means they dig you; they may simply see you as one of their crowd of friends and genuinely be asking for your opinion, not your love quotient. Be sure to use the context around you to gauge whats really going on.
- If she is very shy, then she probably wont be able to talk to you face-to-face. However, its possibly that she will talk to you online instead; however, even for some girls, this takes courage. If she talks to you online but shies away when she sees you, then the odds are she likes you a lot but is having a hard time showing it face-to-face. Help her by smiling and chatting about whats shes doing, etc.
- Always be yourself. If a girl likes a fabricated you, shell soon scratch beneath that veneer youve tried to use and wont be impressed. If shes not into you the way you are, dont date her.
- Body language is not completely universal or always assured as meaning what you think it should mean. Some girls express their feelings through different actions than others. Take your time, find out if shes actually interested by talking to her. A girl thats not interested will likely try and make excuses to end the conversation and get away from you. Take that as a true sign!
- Be alert if she asks you if you have a girlfriend right now. Asking about your girlfriend interest or preferences is a sign that shes fishing for your availability details.
- If the girl of your dreams objects to your romantic advances, dont take it personally. A good relationship starts with someone connecting well with you. Moreover, there are plenty of other girls who will be right for you.
- If she brings you gifts from her trips or for your birthday she probably likes you, and when she points out how hard she tried to find something you might like, she might be giving you a hint. This only applies when youre not already best friends.

How to know if your password has been hacked
How to know if your password has been hacked
Unfortunately, piracy has become commonplace on the Internet. And one of the biggest blunders you can make if to think that it will only happen to others, that if you dont do anything, youll never have a problem. Unfortunately, its not so simple. So how can you know if your account has been hacked?
No, it doesnt only happen to others. It just takes a spot of bad luck, and suddenly, youre one of the ones if wasnt supposed to happen to. Everyone (or nearly everyone) is likely to get hacked at some point. Even big names on the Internet can be hacked, like Apple and Yahoo. But how can you know if youve been hacked? Lets start with some basic elements:
Check if youve activated maximum security
If youre unlucky, the service you use may have been hacked, and a thief would then have access to the services database. Service managers may contact you to explain the situation, and if youre on social media, youll find out pretty quickly anyway. If the target is not a business/service, things depend a little more on yourself. Have you enabled all security settings? For example, some services use a 2-step verification system. The odds of being hacked with this feature are minimized, and even if this were to happen, you would be notified. For example, Google, Facebook and Dropbox will send you a message to let you know that someone has tried to access your account from a new device.

Check how safe your password is
Of course, not all websites offer a wide range of security options. You must therefore think long and hard on the main element for confidentiality: the password. If the service is hacked, the quality of your password will not really make a difference but if you are personally targeted, it makes sense to pick a safe password. So how can you tell if your password is secure enough? Youve probably heard left, right and center that a secure password must have a mix of numbers, letters and sometimes special characters. The problem is that machines that try to figure out your password are also aware of this, so by creating a mix of these characters, youre not necessarily making the account impossible to hack, youre only making it more difficult because theyll have to test a greater number of combinations that include numbers and special characters. Bill Burr, the creator of the secured password standards, explained the problem. In short, he says to make sure you get creative with your password and make sure its not just a single word with characters at the start or end. If your password is "Password31", you should probably consider making it a bit more complicated.

Look at the symptoms
Check online if you have been hacked
If piracy is done on a large scale, you can check whether you were hacked or not. A security expert has created a list of all the victims after every known attack, and allows users to check if their account was hacked. The website is called Have I been pwned? You just have to type in your email address, and the website will tell you whether or not someone knows your password. You can also type your password and the website tells you if it has been compromised. In both cases, the database is huge (over 300 million passwords) since it gathers hacked accounts from LinkedIn, VK, MySpace, Badoo, Dropbox and many more.
Have you ever had your account hacked? How did you know it had been hacked? Share your experiences in the comments below.
