Well, hold up. I used to be a blogging newbie too. I had the same problems. I started my blog (BloggingBasics101.com) back in 2006, and I knew less than nothing about blogging. In fact it was only the week before I�d learnt what a blog was.
Now I know a ton about them, and my blog�s doing pretty well � I receive more than 200,000 unique visitors per month which makes me consider myself someone you could listen to and learn from when it comes to building your own blog. I�m not some sort of Guru, but I certainly do know the basics.
I promise it�ll be simple, relatively easy, and definitely easy to understand (no stupid jargon). Sound good? Awesome, let�s move on.

- You have to buy custom domains from websites like Godaddy, Bigrock etc.
- Suppose you are buying domain on Godaddy.com
- Firstly login your www.blogger.com blog
- Enter username and password.
- Go in Settings > Basics option. See below screenshot
- Now look at the publishing section, your blog name will be appear then click on setup third party url for your blog link. Now enter your custom domain name like www.xyz.com see below screenshot to understand.
- After entering the url you will get warning we have not able to verify your authority to this domain
- Now you will get Name, Label or Host and Destination, Target or Points To Fields. You can see above in Screen shot. For eg. www is your host and ghs.google.com is yuor points to field.
- Now open another tab in your browser and go to your domain provider website like www.godaddy.com and enter your login details.
- Now login into your Godaddy account and click on My Account tab.

- Now you have to go on Domain Manager.

- In the domain manager page you will see option DNS MANAGER. You have to click on DNS MANAGER.
- Note that in DNS MANAGER you have to enter A(Host) and Cname.
- Now click on A(Host) tab you have to enter this 4 ip addresses one by one using add button.

- After you done adding records click on save button to save your records.

- Now you have to enter your Cnames (alias). You Cname alias are www ghs.google.com see below screenshot. Now you have to enter your Host and Points to Fields thats it. After adding records click on save.

- Now open your blooger.com blog and enter url then click on save button.
You have done, now you have to wait for few hours to take effects in your ip records. Just relax and seat back. After few hours you will see that your blog address is redirects to your new custom domain. :)
Note - If you dont write your host www and points to ghs.google.com then if users not type www in url field, then your site will not appear to them. So follow above steps carefully and setup your custom domain name.
It may take upto 72 hours to take effects in your ip records. I will suggest to you buy a domain name on Godaddy.com.

Hi?, Ever wondered how or if you could access more than the most recent X posts defined in a wordpress post feed??

Heres a Quick way to get Next 10 items from the feed. normally a wordpress feed link would look like this http://yoursite.com/feed ,

this would get the latest 10 items or the number set on feed settings in admin panel.
To get the next X of items from the feed, just add /?paged=2 at then end of your feed link.
I.e
yourwebsite.com/feed -> get last 10 posts
yourwebsite.com/feed/?paged=2 -> get next 10 posts
just incase, to get to the next X third Page Change ?paged=2 to ?paged=3 and so on.

If you are using blogger, their are two pre-made comment systems by default i.e Blogger Comments and Google+ Comments, but both of the comments systems does not allow you to login with Facebook and Twitter, infact Google+ comment system only supports Google+ users to comment. 1. Register a New Account:
You can easily signup with your existing Facebook, Twitter and Google ID or you can signup by giving your email address and verifying your email address.

2. Add Disqus on Blogger:
After signing up and verifying email, look to right top corner, where it gives Setting Options. Click on it, a drop down will come, select Add disqus to site option.

After clicking that you will be able to see Add Disqus To Site page, fill information and click on Finish Registration button.

Now you will be asked to choose your blog platform. Click on Blogger and don�t forget to verify your email.

After choosing your platform you will see two options that is integrating Disqus in your blog and importing comments from your blog.

Click on Add ----- to my blogger site option.
On the next page, select your desired blog, give it a title and click on Add Widget.

Here are few things that you should always remember when writing a review post for your affiliate product:
- Reviews should be honest. Most of the time, people just focus on the good points about a product and fail to mention any downsides. An honest review should include both sides of the coins. Remember to also add product images, and give all the useful information you have to offer about the product.
- Write a review in a personal tone, as people are looking for a personal recommendation in review articles.
- Pick a product that you are more likely to use yourself.
- Take advantage of star-ratings in search engines to get more CTR for your review articles. You can use the Author Review plugin to add star-ratings on your blog posts. Your results in SERP�s will look like the image below:

Believe it or not, money-saving is always the biggest marketing incentive. Whenever a customer is buying a product and he sees a coupon box, he searches for �Product Name + coupon�, and with the resulting coupon code, you still receive a good commission for the sale.Remember, your goal as an affiliate marketer is not just to share the coupon, but to make the customer click your affiliate link, else the sale will not count as yours�. (There are exceptions for certain affiliate programs where coupons are considered as sales.)
You can also consider writing a monthly blog post for coupon codes. (Example: Web Hosting Coupon Codes for September 2013), etc.
If you notice on various coupon sites, they will always ask you to �Click to view coupon�, �Click to go on the merchant site� and so on. The reason for this is to drop the cookie. Here is an image as a reference:

Be it a review post or be it a coupon code post, your goal is to get more views on these posts. Apart from On-page SEO, you should give more visibility to such a post by placing it as a featured post. There is a handy feature in WordPress that allows you to stick any blog post on your blog�s homepage. Here is how you can do it:
In the �edit post� section, click on �Visibility� and put a check mark beside �Stick this post to the front page�. I have tried this with a few pillar posts at ShoutMeLoud, and it has really increased my reader base.
Use banners on the sidebar
When you are getting targeted organic traffic to your blog, banner advertisements work great. For me, a great part of the conversion comes from banner clicks. Prominent banner placement is a worthwhile task. One of the mistakes which many of us regularly make is to add too many banners, which only serves to confuse the reader. To avoid this problem, follow this one rule of thumb:Never place banner ads for similar products on your sidebar: Banner ads work as a recommended product. With multiple similar products, you are confusing your readers in their decision of which product to buy. It is a good idea to place products that are related to a certain niche within that particular niche. For example, in a blog post about WordPress tips you can place a banner ad for: Themes, Plugins, Hosting, Services, etc.

If yours� is a multi-niche blog, you should consider using the Adrotate plugin for your ad management. This plugin will help you to show ads based on category and geographical location. You can also run A/B testing of different banners.
Bonus Tip: Link out to the website directly, instead of to your review post. One of the biggest mistakes most affiliate marketers make is that they try to link to their review post or internal post. This is wrong because a product landing page is always optimized for higher conversion, and will obviously be better optimized than your own review post. In the past year I have started linking directly out to the product landing page instead of to my review post, and this has resulted in my conversions skyrocketing.
